Bowline Logistics Ltd. from Spruce Grove, AB require 5 full time Truck Drivers to perform the following:

Job details:

Location of shop: 10 Alberta Ave, Spruce Grove, AB T7X 3A6 (On the road job)

Salary: $34.00/hour

Vacancies: 5 vacancies

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 40-50 hours/week

Start date: As soon as possible

Employment conditions: Overtime, Day, Weekend

Languages: English

On the road job: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Experience an asset

Work setting: Various locations

Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

Type of trucking and equipment: Extended length tractor-trailer combination, Flatbed, Tractor-trailer

Transportation/travel experience: International, Long-haul, Provincial/territorial, Regional, Short-haul

Documentation knowledge: Bill of lading, Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation

Tasks: Professionalism in customer service, Load and unload goods, Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Security and safety: Valid passport, Basic security clearance, Driving record check (abstract)

Transportation/travel information: Drive manual transmission vehicle, Valid driver's licence, Willing to travel for extended periods

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, Handling heavy loads, Large workload, Overtime required, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Sitting
