Tango Hair Ltd. dba Tango Salon located in Victoria, BC is looking for an experienced and skilled Hairstylist.

Conditions

• Position: Hairstylist (NOC 63210)
• Full-time, Permanent Position
• Wage: $18.00 – 19.00 per hour (wage to be determined depend on experience and skills)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
• Ability to do shift work (daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Benefit: Gratuities
• Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% gross salary
• Position Available: 1

Requirements

• Education: Completion of secondary school
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of hairstylist experience is required
• Language: English

Job Duties

• Suggest hairstyle compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences
• Style customers’ hair by cutting, bleaching, tinting, dyeing, trimming, curling, coloring, perming, blow drying, ironing, tapering, and frosting or streaking
• Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
• May shampoo and rinse hair
• May perform receptionist duties such as booking appointments and order supplies
