Job Duties:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced truck driver to join our team in the transportation of grain and fertilizer throughout South Eastern Saskatchewan. As part of our team, you will operate and drive primarily superb hopper trucks to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of goods. This role requires a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

 

Operate and drive primarily superb hopers to transport Grain and Fertilizer throughout South Eastern Saskatchewan

Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment, and loading and unloading of cargo

May drive trucks weighing over 4500 kg to transport goods and materials over short distances in Saskatchewan 

Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals and brakes 

Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods

Administer bills of lading and manually or electronically maintain log books

Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices and on-board computers

May perform emergency roadside repairs

Other duties as required

 

Job Requirements: 

Must have 5 years experience with a 1A license and min 2 years with a superb experience 

Punctual 

Attention to detail 

Mechanically inclined 

Great attitude 

Strong customer service

Willing to work overtime if required 

Be able to start and run load out equipment with out supervision
