Kin’s Farm Market is a Canadian-owned specialty produce retailer that comprises corporate and franchise stores with 23 locations in British Columbia. Our mission is to be a leader in specialty produce through a family-team environment by delivering freshness, offering unique customer service, promoting healthy lifestyles. Due to business expansion needs, we are looking to hire three Supervising Shift Leaders to work at three of our different store locations. We welcome newcomers, indigenous people and vulnerable youth to apply.

Job duties description

• Supervise, assign and coordinate other staff including sales staff, cashiers, cleaners
• Prepare work schedules and assign duties to workers
• Authorize payments and handle return of merchandise
• Resolve customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
• Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Hire and train new staff and monitor and report on performance
• Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness
• Perform the same duties as workers supervised
• Perform key holding and managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries.
• Other duties as per instruction

Qualifications

Minium 1 year of experience in a retail environment, high school diploma

Strong interest in produce industry and willing to learn new things
