Sous Chef Roles and Responsibilities

Show up on time

Put Away Orders

Check over orders, ensure quality and quantity is correct

Maintain a clean organized workplace

Ensure all cooks and dishwashers are complying to Giulia Code of Conduct

Ensure all food items are going out in a timely fashion
-
Train new and current staff on any new roles in the kitchen

Ensure mise en place is completed and ready for service

Ensure any issues during service or mise en place time are brought to the attention of the Chef or General Manager if they are not present or aware of said issue

Ensure orders are completed each night if chef is not present

Work well with others

Guide others in a positive fashion
