Job Position: Software Engineer
Vacancy: 1
Main Job Duties:
– Collect and document users' requirements and develop logical and physical specifications.
– Research, evaluate and synthesize technical information to design, develop and test computer-based systems including mobile applications.
– Improve system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures.
– Liaise with colleagues to implement technical designs.
– Assess, test, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures for operating systems, communications environments and applications software.
– Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
– Demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
– Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies.
– Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
Qualifications:
– A bachelor’s degree, usually in computer science, computer system engineering, and software engineering is essential.
– High-level programming language in Java, Groovy and TypeScript
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– At least 2 years of computer programming experience is required. And experience as a software engineer may be concerned as an asset.
Offered Wage: $53.00-$55.00/hour
Working Condition: 35-40 hours a week and 15 days or 6% from gross income for paid vacation per year
