DBA ORX AI, is a healthcare-focused artificial intelligence company building intelligent automation and decision support platforms for high volume, regulated healthcare environments. The company’s mandate is to reduce friction across patient, provider, and public health interactions by embedding AI directly into the workflows of contact centers, clinics, and health system operations.

ORX AI designs and deploys conversational AI, voice automation, and knowledge intelligence platforms that handle real world operational complexity, including regulated data, fragmented systems, and legacy infrastructure. Its products automate routine inquiries, guide agents and clinicians with real time decision support, and continuously generate and maintain high quality knowledge bases from live operational data such as calls, transcripts, documents, and policies.

Job Description:

Position: Senior AI Developer

Work Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Wage: Annual base salary of $120,000

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Start date: ASAP

Benefits: 10% performance bonus + Extended benefits for the employee and his family. 4% Vacation Pay (as per law).

Work Location: Remote (employee based in Toronto; company headquartered in British Columbia)

Key duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide senior-level technical leadership, architecture guidance, and decision-making across ORX platforms and products.
• Establish and uphold engineering standards, development practices, and technical governance to ensure quality, scalability, and consistency.
• Lead, mentor, and collaborate with the ORX engineering team through sprint planning, prioritization, code reviews, and hands-on development.
• Design, build, test, and deploy backend and full-stack systems, APIs, and platform services.
• Drive system performance, reliability, security, and scalability through continuous improvement and optimization.
• Support integration of AI, large language models, data pipelines, and third-party services into ORX products.
• Align technology initiatives with business strategy, product goals, and operational needs.
• Contribute to product vision, technical roadmaps, and platform strategy in partnership with product and business leaders.
• Evaluate technical feasibility of new product ideas and business initiatives; advise on build-vs-buy, tooling, and vendor selection.
• Advise executive leadership on technology risks, opportunities, and long-term platform evolution.
• Prototype and iterate on product features to enable rapid experimentation and validation.
• Review code, produce technical documentation, and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
• Support cross-functional collaboration across technology, product, and go-to-market teams.
• Participate in customer, partner, or sales engagements, including technical due diligence and solution design, as needed.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements for the job:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or in a related discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in a directly related job position.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
