Position:

Hair Salon Manager

 

Number of Positions:

Terms of employment:

Full-time, Permanent

 

Education requirements:

–  Completion of secondary school

 

Job requirements:

–  Minimum 3 years of experience as a hairstylist is required

–  Strong knowledge in hairstyling and salon operations

 

Language Requirements:

English

 

Start date:

ASAP

 

Compensation:

$37.51/hour

 

Hours:

30-40 hours per week

 

Vacation:

4% vacation pay

 

Benefits:

Extended medical upon request, Paid sick leave (up to 5 days/year)

 

Duties:

  • Oversee, manage and assess the daily operations and the activities of services
  • Implement policies and guidelines and ensure the salon operations comply with health, safety and industry regulations
  • Control budget and inventory
  • Respond to inquiries or complaints, handle work-related issues
  • Promote services and create marketing campaigns to attract new customers
  • Hire, train and supervise hairstylists
