Description

We are looking for a well experienced Sales Manager for our company Go Auto located at 2971 Main St S, Airdrie, AB T4B 3G5, Canada. However, you may be required to work at multiple locations.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

  • Plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of the sales department to achieve dealership revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction goals.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies, policies, and procedures that reflect the company’s values of trustworthiness, teamwork, and customer care.

  • Recruit, train, and motivate sales staff, conducting regular goal-setting meetings and performance reviews to drive results and professional growth.

  • Lead by example to foster a positive, ethical, and compliant workplace culture that aligns with dealership standards and the Employee Code of Conduct.

  • Monitor sales performance metrics, customer interactions, and deal logs to ensure accuracy, accountability, and effective reporting.

  • Oversee the execution of the “Steps to the Sale” process, ensuring consistency in deal flow, pricing, and documentation standards.

  • Manage sales forecasting, budget planning, and controllable expense elements to meet department financial targets.

  • Supervise Assistant Sales Managers and sales staff to ensure assigned tasks, reports, and sales documentation are completed accurately and on time.

  • Collaborate with the General Sales Manager and General Manager on marketing initiatives, advertising, promotions, and inventory management.

  • Maintain and manage vehicle inventory, ensuring proper stock levels, identifying aging units, and assisting with appraisals and pricing strategies.

  • Handle customer escalations and concerns promptly, ensuring high CSI scores and customer retention through professional resolution.

  • Represent the dealership at internal and external meetings, maintain manufacturer and corporate certifications, and support ongoing staff training through Go Auto University.

Prerequisites:

Education: University Degree or Diploma in relevant field or equivalent.

Experience & Skills: 3 to less than 5 years of experience in sales or retail management or equivalent.

Language: English

 

Hourly Rate: $36.00 to $38.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Full time and permanent

Benefits: 6 % vacation pay
