Description

VANTAGE ROOFING LTD. is looking for a full-time and permanent 1 Roofer in Surrey, BC, V3Z 0X2. (Even though this is a full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is 40.00/hr and 30to 40 hours/week.

Job Description:

  • Install and repair different types of roofing systems (shingles, metal, flat and single-ply roofs).
  • Apply waterproof coatings and materials to protect buildings.
  • Replace or fix damaged shingles, shakes, and other roofing parts.
  • Use hand and power tools to install roofing materials and sheet metal flashings.
  • Measure, estimate, and prepare materials needed for jobs.
  • Set up and take down scaffolding and other work platforms.
  • Follow safety procedures while working at heights.

 

Education

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

  • 1 year to less than 2 years
