Description
COBS Bread is a bakery franchise specializing in freshly baked bread, pastries, and other baked goods, made from scratch daily. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our COBS Bread team at the Trenant Park Location (in Ladner, BC).

Educational Requirements:
– Completion of secondary school
Job Requirements:
– At least 3 years of experience in retail or wholesale in a bakery or similar setting, including:
- at least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience
- commercial baking experience or strong knowledge of bakery operations
- experience in retail or wholesale sales
– Strong leadership, management, and sales abilities with a high level of accountability
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Proficiency in using computer and related software

English

Wage:
$42~45/hour
Hours:
35-40 hours per week, including weekends and early morning

Job Duties:
– Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of retail and wholesale bakery sales
– Manage bakery staff, assign duties, and train team members
– Study bakery market trends and customer preferences to determine product demand and potential sales volumes
– Determine bakery products to be sold and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets while minimizing product waste
– Negotiate with vendors and maintain strong business relationships
– Develop and implement promotional and merchandising strategies to increase sales
– Plan budgets for bakery operations, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues and costs
– Evaluate and enhance customer service, resolve customer issues, and maintain high standards of product quality
– Oversee staffing requirements, including hiring, scheduling and staff retention
