Job duties:

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service, quality control, and adherence to company standards.

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for front-of-house and kitchen coordination, service flow, and customer experience.

• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff; provide coaching, performance management, and ongoing operational training.

• Prepare staff schedules, manage shift coverage, and ensure appropriate staffing levels during peak and non-peak periods.

• Manage inventory levels, place orders, coordinate with suppliers, and control food and supply costs to minimize waste.

• Monitor sales performance, labour costs, and operating expenses; prepare basic operational reports and recommend corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health and safety, and workplace policies; maintain records and follow inspection requirements.

• Handle escalated customer issues, resolve complaints, and maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction.

• Coordinate maintenance needs and ensure equipment and facilities are kept in good working condition.

• Perform other related management duties required to support business continuity and operational performance.
