Magellan Coatings Ltd. is looking for a skillful painter in Squamish, BC!

Position: Painter (Permanent / Full-time)
Position available: 1
Wage: $28.00 per hour
Working hours: 30~40 hours per week
Work Location:
- Company Location: 1137 Axen Road, Brackendale, BC V0N 1H0
- Various work locations in BC
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
- Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures, scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.
- Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture
- Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
- Clean equipment and perform routine maintenance
- Work in a safe and conscientious manner
Requirements:
- Language: English
- Education: Completion of secondary school
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of painter experience is required
- Must be available weight handling up to 23kg(50lbs)
