Chef De Partie

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in line with cuisine specialty.
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff and delegate tasks accordingly.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Ensure kitchen operations align with health and safety standards.
• Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
• Assist in menu planning and recipe development with a focus on innovation and tradition.

Requirements

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a college program in culinary arts or equivalent experience in commercial cooking.
• 2-3 years of experience as a cook or chef specializing in Indian cuisine.

Hours:30- 40 hrs/week

Wage: $36.80/hour
