Job description: This company is looking for one full time, permanent Occupational Health & Safety Officer to join their team.
Job duties:

• Lead and participate in workplace assessments and investigations to ensure the prevention of accidents and incidents, prioritizing safety.
• Lead and participate in workplace inspections to verify that equipment, materials, and processes do not compromise the safety and well-being of employees.
• Develop and implement health and safety programs
• Initiate enforcement measures in cases where workplaces violate established safety standards mandated by the organization or government.
• Deliver training sessions to employers, employees, and the general public on matters pertaining to workplace safety.
• Engage in effective communication with decision-makers and employees to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree or college diploma is required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of related experience is required
