Mega Sushi Restaurant is seeking F/T First Cooks
Position Info:
- Position: First Cook
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $22.50 ~ $25.00 /hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 12-2662 Austin Avenue, Coquitlam, BC V3K 6C4

Job Duties:
- Maintain food, supplies, and equipment are accurately recorded and kept in inventory
- Prepare and cook complete meals or various types of Japanese dishes with standardized recipes
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
- Maintain food preparation area and kitchen are cleaned and hygienic
- May participate in planning menus, calculating serving size of food portions, estimating food requirements, and requesting and ordering food ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
- Participate in hiring and training the kitchen staff
- Oversee kitchen operations
Job requirements:
- Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
- Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.
- Language: English
