Description
MD Freightlines Ltd located at 1920 20 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T6T 2K9 is looking for 4 Long Haul Truck Drivers, wages are $29.50 per hour and no of hours are 50 per week.

Job Description:
Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
Load and unload goods
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Perform emergency roadside repairs
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Employment Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is usually required. On-the-job training is provided. A Class 3 license is required to drive straight trucks. A Class 1 license is required to drive articulated trucks. Air brake endorsement (Z) is required for drivers who operate vehicles equipped with air brakes.
