NOC 4411 – Nanny
My home needs an experienced live-in nanny. Your main responsibility is to look after a one-year-old child and prepare the family meals. You may do some light housekeeping.
The applicant must be mature, loving, energetic, honest, outgoing, independent and reliable.
Work Location: NW, Calgary, Alberta
Job duties:
Supervise and care for the children is first priority. Responsibilities include: preparing and feeding meals to the children; engaging the children in play and different types of activities in the home and taking them outdoors, to nearby local parks when it is safe to do so. The nanny will put the absolute safety of the children first before all other responsibilities; provide care, warmth and security in the absence of parents. Plan activities that promote physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development. Participate and supervise activities with children which would include: games, walks, play dates, playground outings and reading to children daily.
On weekdays, the nanny needs to prepare family food and take care of the child. On weekend, the nanny only needs to prepare the food. The nanny will be free in other times of the weekend.
The nanny will do some light housekeeping.
Job Requirements/ Experience and Qualifications:
At least 6 months of Caregiver training or at least one year of full-time paid experience as a caregiver or in a related field or occupation in the past three years
First Aid Certificate or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate is an asset
Able to speak, write and read English. Eligible to receive work permit for Canada. Reference required.

Terms of Employment:
The job is full-time, 37-40 hours per week. Wage: $18.00 hourly
