Cheers Liquor Store is looking for one (1) permanent full-time Liquor store supervisor who could join immediately. The details are given below.

Work Location: 105 Victoria Road East, Box 582 Revelstoke, BC V0E 2S0 

Salary: $23.08 per hour

Positions: 1

Hours per week: 30 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job duties and Responsibilities: 

• Supervise and coordinate sales staff and cashiers.
• Planned and prepared work schedules and assigned sales workers to duties.
• Operate cash registers and authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise.
• Sell merchandise to customers.
• Check merchandise to make sure it’s correctly priced, displayed, and meets quality standards.
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages.
• Replenish the sales floor.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder as needed.
• Monitor and prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
• Hire and train employees to use equipment and complete job-related tasks such as using the cash register, greeting customers, and handling customer complaints.
• Evaluate employee performance and identify areas to improve.
• Maintain store health and safety procedures; Make sure the store is clean and organized.

Skill Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School is required
• 1 to less than 7 months
