Liquor Store Supervisor
Peninsula Liquor Store, located in Surrey, BC, is seeking a Liquor Store Supervisor. The candidate will have the following responsibilities:
– Oversee daily store operations and manage retail sales staff and cashiers.
– Prepare work schedules for employees.
– Address issues that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages.
– Approve returns, refunds, and payments within pre-approved authorized limits.
– Maintain inventory and reorder merchandise as needed.
– Collaborate with management to improve the store’s efficiency.
– Prepare reports for management regarding store sales, inventory, and other business-related matters.
– Train new employees in key tasks such as preventing underage alcohol sales, verifying IDs, operating the cash register, stocking shelves, handling promotions, and maintaining the store.
– Perform opening and closing procedures.
– Ensure that merchandise prices are current and accurate.
– Maintain the cleanliness and overall presentation of the store, including displays, signage, and promotional materials, according to policy.
– Prepare, place, follow up on, and receive orders and store supplies.
– Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, invoices, and promotional materials.
Wages: $24.25/hr for 40 hours per week.

Skills Requirement and Experience:
• Completion of Secondary School education is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in retail sales is necessary.
• Must be comfortable using various computer software relevant to the position.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
