• Position: Violin Teacher
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $76,000 per year
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 4th Street Suite 903B, Castlegar, BC V1N 3P3

Job Duties:

• Provide individualized and group violin instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels, following structured lesson plans and curriculum
• Teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance techniques to support comprehensive musical development
• Prepare students for recitals, examinations, auditions, and competitions, offering guidance on repertoire selection and performance preparation
• Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson progress, and student evaluations
• Participate in academy events, concerts, and workshops, fostering student engagement and community involvement
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and motivating learning environment that encourages discipline, creativity, and a passion for music

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2-3 years of related experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
