We are seeking an Interior Designer to join us, your creativity will shape environments that reflects both aesthetic vision and functional excellence. Job duties description
1. Space Planning & Design Development – Create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts, ensuring optimal use of space while adhering to client needs and building codes.
2. Material & Finish Selection – Research and specify furniture, fixtures, colors, and materials that align with design concepts, budgets, and sustainability goals.
3. Construction Documentation – Prepare detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and specifications for contractors, ensuring accurate implementation of design intent.
4. Client & Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to refine designs, address feedback, and ensure project alignment.
5. Compliance & Regulations – Ensure all designs meet BC building codes, accessibility standards (ADA/BCAB), and industry best practices.
Qualifications (special occupation certification)
Bachelor's degree
At least 1 year work experience
Familiar with all kinds of software as an interior designer
Working Schedule:
• 7 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
