Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated in-home caregiver to provide full-time childcare support within a private household in Toronto, Ontario. The caregiver will play a vital role in maintaining a nurturing, safe, and structured environment for 2 children, supporting their daily routines and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will bring previous childcare experience, a genuine passion for working with 2 children, and the ability to integrate smoothly into the family’s daily life. This position is essential in enabling the parents to maintain their full-time professional responsibilities, knowing their children are receiving attentive, reliable, and consistent care in their own home. The caregiver will become an important and trusted part of the household, contributing to the children's emotional, social, and developmental growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and care for 2 children in employer’s residence
• Bathe, dress, and feed 2 children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Organize activities such as games and outings for 2 children
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Tend to emotional well-being of 2 children
• Take full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• Discipline 2 children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Prepare 2 children for rest periods and nap times

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school (Grade 12 or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of full-time caregiving experience or related education
• The candidate must be present in Canada
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• Must be reliable, patient, caring, and organized
• No criminal record; able to provide references upon request
• Related education is an asset
• First-aid certificate is an asset

Work Setting:

• Private home located in downtown Toronto
