About Us:
Rental Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and expanding affordable housing across Ontario. We work with non-profits, municipalities, and developers to ensure sustainable housing solutions. Our small but dynamic team is committed to making a tangible impact in communities through innovative strategies and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate activities related to the management of affordable rental properties Other administrative and research tasks as required.
- Prepare and administer contracts for provision of property services, such as cleaning and maintenance, security services and alarm systems
- Co-ordinate the implementation of repairs, maintenance and renovations carried out on buildings and monitor progress and cost of work for property owners
- Ensure that trouble calls received from clients or tenants are acted upon
- Support tenants with small tasks to address minor issues.
- Reports to Justin Rain, Director.
Qualifications:
- Someone who has lived experience with housing need.
- Must have completed post-secondary school.
- Requires 2 or more years of administrative experience in project management, property clerk, and/or administrative officer
- Proficiency in Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently is preferred.
- Passion for social impact and housing affordability is a plus!
