Key Responsibilities – AutoBody Technician:

• Repair and restore vehicle bodies to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform dent, scratch, and collision repairs using hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment.
• Apply primer, paint, and coatings with precision and attention to detail.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians and service advisors to meet repair deadlines.
• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
• Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs.
• Repair or replace interior components.
• Inspect vehicles post-repair to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• 1-2 years of experience in the related field
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet repair deadlines.
