Vulcan Hotel, located in Vulcan, Alberta Canada, is currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team in the role of Housekeeper.

Position: Housekeeper

Job Responsibilities:

-Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.

-Dust furniture and vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.

-Make beds, change sheets, and provide clean towels and toiletries.

-Respond to guests' requests for additional supplies promptly.

-Stock linen closets and supply areas with necessary items.

-Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.

-Clean and disinfect public areas, including changing rooms, showers, and elevators.

-Disinfect operating rooms and other areas in hospitals as required.

-Collect debris and empty trash containers.

-Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.

-Report and store lost and found items in accordance with company policy.

-Provide basic information about the facilities to guests if needed.

-Address and handle complaints or escalate them to the supervisor when necessary.

Requirements:

-No specific educational requirements are needed

-Previous experience would be an asset, but we will train!

Working Conditions:

Wage: $18.00 per hour (negotiable), plus 4% vacation pay

Working hours: 30-40 hours per week (Full-time position)
