• Location: Various locations in Lower mainland based on business address 8744 128A STREET SURREY, BC-V3W 0K3


• Salary: $ 30/hour to $37 per hour for minimum 30 hours per Week

• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, full time

• Day, Early Morning, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Shift, To be determined

• Start date: Starts as soon as possible.

Requirements :

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1- 2 years of previous experience in the related field OR completion of two -three years of apprenticeship program is required.

Job duties :

 

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
  • Take measurement and calculate size and amount of material needed
  • Measure, cut, shape, and join wood, wood substitutes and other materials
  • Install vinyl siding or hardy planks, Build frames for windows, doors, staircases
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
  • Prepare layouts using measuring tools
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate wooden structures
  • May estimate costs and materials
  • Follow safety rules and regulations
