About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Home Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to an individual in a private household. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting clients with daily living activities and maintaining a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and bedside assistance
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Administer medications as directed by the employer or healthcare professional
- Support with routine physical activities such as walking or light exercise
- Feed or assist with feeding, as required Perform light housekeeping and general cleaning duties
- Mend or care for clothing and linens as needed
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and a positive presence
Qualifications
Education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent
Experience: At least 1 to 7 months of hands-on experience in caregiving, home support, or related personal care roles.
Certifications: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Language: Proficiency in English is required.
Must be able to work on-site at the employer’s residence
Work Schedule:
Shifts may include: Early morning Day Evening Night Weekend On-call as required
Preferred Candidate:
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Experienced in caregiving or similar roles
- Lives in or near Scarborough, ON
- Holds required certifications (CPR & First Aid)

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week Work
