Home Support Worker
The Kang Family is looking for a Home Support Worker to help care for their mother at their residence. This is a full-time, year-round position.
Duties:
• Provide companionship and personal care to elderly individuals in their homes, following the guidance of family members.
• Assist with regular exercise routines.
• Shopped for food and household supplies necessary for elderly persons.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and manage medications as prescribed by the doctor under the supervision of family members.
• Assist with personal hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks related to elderly individuals.
• Carry out any other related duties as required.
Requirement
• High school diploma
• Formal training or equivalent experience in a caregiving-related field. 7 months – 1 year experience is required.
• Ability to communicate in English
Wages: $24.50/hr for 40 hours per week.
Work setting: Private house at 78 Ave, Surrey, BC, V3W 0J2
