Home Support Worker
The Singh Sidhu Family seeks a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to provide personalized care and assistance at their home. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being.
Terms of employment: full-time, year-round work.
Duties:
– Shop for food and household supplies
– Provide companionship
– Provide personal care
– Assist the client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
– Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
– Launder clothing and household linens
– Prepare and serve nutritious meals
– Assist in feeding, whenever necessary
– Assist in regular exercise and walking
– Other related duties as required
Required skills:
Completion of Secondary School is required
A minimum of 1 year of experience in similar positions or completion of a training program in a relevant field is required.
Ability to communicate in English
Wages: $ 24.50/hr. for 40 hours per week.
Working location: Near the Southdale Crescent and Peardonville Rd intersection, Abbotsford, BC.
