Home Child Care Provider

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for my 18 month old son in our home. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, and possess the ability to educate and engage them in various activities. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage meal preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a safe and stimulating atmosphere for the children.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Educate children through age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after activities and meals.
• Engage children in creative play, educational games, and outdoor activities to foster their growth.
• Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and homework help as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in a babysitting or nanny capacity is required.
• Strong caregiving skills with the ability to create a supportive and engaging environment.
• Competence in meal preparation and cooking healthy meals for children. Brazilian cuisine knowledge is required.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the home.
• Ability to build positive relationships with both children and parents through effective communication.
• A patient, nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for child development.
• Brazilian Portuguese is preferred
