Job Description: This company is currently hiring 1 full-time permanent Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join their team as soon as possible.
Job Duties:
- Inspect and troubleshoot heavy-duty trucks and trailers for mechanical issues
- Perform repairs on diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper performance and safety
- Conduct regular maintenance and adjustments based on service schedules
- Clean, lubricate and maintain equipment to keep it in good working condition
- Check and secure safety devices, guards, and hardware
- Diagnose and repair emission control systems to meet regulations
- Work independently while following all safety standards and procedures
- Maintain clear records of repairs and communicate with the team
Job Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary School is required.
- 2-3 years of related work experience is required.
