Hairstylist

Description

Eight Tree Enterprises Ltd. is hiring permanent full-time hairstylists at Salon Soleil and Salon Trefle. 

Duties:
– Make recommendations for hairstyles
– Scissor cutting, razor cutting, long hair trimming and short hair cutting
– Bleach, dyes/tints, presentations, streaking/highlights
– Blow drying, iron waving/curling, permanents, permanent straightening, digital permanent, twisting and pin curling
– Customer consultation: analyze hair and scalp conditions and provide advice on care treatments
– Shampoo customers’ hair
– Book appointments, perform cashiering duties and receptionist duties when required
– Maintain supplies  

Education / Skills and Experiences: Either

• Completion of college or training program in hairstyling or related program to perform the job

OR

• 3 years of experience as a hairstylist

Language: – English  

Compensation: $23.00/hour (guaranteed) plus commission depending on sales  

Work Condition: Permanent, full-time 30-40 hrs/week  

Benefits: 4% vacation pay, Tip, Group insurance
