Description

DeVry Greenhouses requires 3 greenhouse workers to provide the following duties: 

Job Details: 

Location of work: On Site 

Salary: $18.25 an hour for 40-55 hours per week

Terms of employment: Seasonal Full-time 

Start date: June 10, 2026

Employment Conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekends 

Tasks: 

  • Clean the crops
  • Greenhouse cleaning
  • Plant bulbs and seeds
  • Pot and re-pot plants
  • Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/ or gardens 
  • Clean work area. 

Type of Crops: 

  • Ferns 
  • Perennials 
  • Bedding plants
  • Seasonal plants
  • Tropical plants
  • Vegetables 

Job Requirement: 

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required 

Experience: Experience is an asset

Languages: English 

Work Conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced evnvironment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, Bending crouching, kneeling, weight handling up to 23kg (50lbs) 

Personality suitability: Team player
