General Construction Labourer (NOC 75110)

Description

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Construction Worker / General Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
• Performing pre-operational inspections of tools and equipment.
• Reading blueprints to determine work requirements.
• Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
• Cleaning and piling salvaged materials.
• Performing routine maintenance work and minor repairs.
• Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Installing metal stud framing and furring for drywall or plaster walls and ceilings.
• Conducting minor adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and coordinating with tradespersons for major repairs.
• Performing other routine maintenance tasks, such as painting and drywall repair.
