Description

Our well-established farm, located at 464 Nettle Rd Oliver, BCV0H 1T2, is looking for a permanent, full-time, Fruit farm labourer  to join immediately and help with our daily operations.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Pack fruits and vegetables
  • Sort fruits and vegetables
  • Tie and secure plants
  • Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
  • Weeding
  • Fertilize and spray crops
  • Harvest crops
  • Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry

 

Requirements:

·         No degree, certificate or diploma

·         Experience an asset

Remuneration:

·         $19.00 per hour for at least 35 hours per week

 

Employment conditions:

Early morning, Evening, Morning, Day
