(Food Services Manager)
We are looking for an experienced Food Services Manager for The Daily Seafood Inc located at 135 Blake St Toronto ON M4J 3E2 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:

Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with food safety regulations.

Supervise and coordinate with service staff, assigning tasks and ensuring smooth workflow.

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure a consistent supply of seafood products.

Maintains complete responsibility for the quality and consistency of all food and beverage offerings.

Complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.

Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including HACCP protocols and food handling standards.

Train staff on food safety, hygiene, portion control, and customer service to maintain high-quality standards.

Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests to provide exceptional service and maintain customer satisfaction.

Monitor financial performance, control costs, and ensure profitability by managing budgets and optimizing resources.

Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality seafood products and maintain strong business relationships.

Oversee equipment maintenance and facility cleanliness to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously improve food service operations.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary School Certificate
Experience & Skills: 1 years to less than 2 years of experience in the food industry
Language: English
Annual Salary: $53,200 to $57,000 for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
