We are currently looking for a self-motivated Full-time Assistant Manager, Restaurant to join our team who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. You are expected to help drive the daily operations, ensuring top-notch service and maintaining the highest standards of quality. If you're passionate about culinary arts and thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment, we welcome you to become part of the Steve Poke Bar family. Duties:

• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Prepare food order summaries for chef
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Establish work schedules
• Prepare and submit reports
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years to less than 3 years in restaurant/food service supervision or management
• Education: College/CEGEP (or other non-university certificate/diploma in hospitality, food service management, or related field)
• Language: English
• Work Setting: Fast-paced restaurant environment; no remote work available

Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register (cashier). Position requires standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Salary: $36.60 per hour
