The company is looking to hire a dedicated and committed Food Services Supervisor for our Walkerton location. The applicant will be responsible for maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals. The applicant will be expected to ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. The applicant needs experience in both front and back of the restaurant.

Job Protected Unpaid Leave: 10 days for personal emergencies such as illness, injury and certain other emergencies and urgent matters.

Work hours: Minimum 32 hours per week and flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
Job requirements:
● Secondary School Certificate
● Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a volume food preparation environment
● Minimum one year of experience in front of house and customer service
● Post-secondary education from a Canadian Institute will be an asset
● Ability to supervise food staff of 3-6 employees
● May require lifting and arranging supply boxes of weight 25 lbs
● Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
● Must be available on weekends and may need to manage store till late evenings in busy seasons
Job description:
● Handling employees schedule and deployment efficiently to provide customer satisfaction.
● Assisting the management in hiring and training.
● Prepare the weekly schedule for the employees.
● Performing administrative duties such as answering telephones, placing orders, and communicating with suppliers as needed.
● Acting as an Intermediary between team members and the managment as well as customers.
● Work with management for efficient weekly inventory control & stock ordering.
● Ensure the facility’s services meet quality control standards.
● Thoroughly following health and safety procedures at the work premises.
● Assigning duties to the co-workers who prepare, portion, and serve food.
● Complete safety reports relating to health and safety issues.
● Resolve customer complaints and ensure quality of the brand is maintained.
