Description

iTeck Roofing Inc. is currently hiring skilled FLAT ROOFERS for jobs across the Greater Toronto Area and southwestern Ontario.

Responsibilities: 

• Installing, repairing, or replacing built-up roofing (BUR) systems using asphalt-saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
• Installing, repairing, or replacing single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
• Working with conventional and inverted roofing systems, including hot, cold, torch, TPO, PVC, and EPDM.
• Applying waterproof coatings to concrete or masonry surfaces above or below ground level.
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
• Install sheet metal flashings
• Using hand tools and power tools for installation and repairs.
• Setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment to provide safe access to roofs.
• Maintaining safety certifications and performing all duties in compliance with workplace safety regulations and company safety policies.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• At least one year of ICI roofing experience
• Availability for overtime and some weekend hours
• Reliable team play with excellent physical stamina
• Safety training certificates for the industry although training provided

Hours and Wages:
Rates of pay depend on previous work experience
$36.00 per hour

This is a full-time position, between 32 and 44 per week throughout the year.
