Groenenboom Farms Ltd. located at NE35-9-22-W4, 95080 RR 23-1, Lethbridge County, AB T0L 0V0. is seeking a Farm Supervisor. English speaking workplace. Rural Area. Full-time, permanent position.

Wage: $24.00/hour for 40-50 hours per week
Benefits: medical/dental/RRSP after three months
Experience: 2-3 years
Education: Basic

Duties would include but not limited to:
*Management of the feedlot staff (2-3)
*Supervise and oversee livestock-related programs
*Maintain quality control and production records
*Daily check of cattle with the feedlot team
*Daily treatment of cattle pulled (sick/lame)
-ensure protocols are followed
-remain in contact with vest as needed (problem cattle/post mortems)
-order drugs
-inform management of cattle that need to be shipped/slaughtered/euthanized
*Ensure cattle are returned to proper home/sick pen after they are treated
*Processing cattle (new and reimplanting)
*Maintain cleanliness of barns and surrounding areas.
-work with management if there are problems or shop personnel for repairs
*Use of equipment (tractor/loader/skid steer)
– bedding cattle
-spread straw/sand in shipping and processing areas
*Shipping of fat cattle
-ensure cattle are clean of drugs prior to shipping
-ensure cattle are handled in a calm collective manner
*Receive new cattle
-ensuring counts are correct and cattle go to the proper pens.
*General feedlot maintenance
*Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
*Perform general farm duties as required by management

MUST be able to work in ALL weather conditions. MUST be able to work weekends, including Sundays, on a schedule.
