Israelson Forage Inc., SE25-31-W5, Didsbury, AB, is seeking a farm foreman. Permanent, full-time. English speaking workplace. Rural area.

Wage: $40.00/hour
Education: High School
Experience: 3-5 years

Duties: All duties related to haying and crops. Operate and maintain modern farm equipment. Manage and arrange with mechanic shop for any repairs beyond scope. Manage and all harvesting farm workers. Seeding, fertilizing, weed control and harvesting of hay and other crops. Planning and organizing with owners for next crop season (Hay and crops). Order materials and seed needed for farm operation. Supervise production and shipping to ensure smooth workflow ad timely issue resolution. Loading and unloading of hay and crops in fields and at farm.
Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures and ensure all procedures are followed. Develop specific plans to prioritize the work needed to be completed. Winter months – ensure all farm equipment and machinery is in good working order. Interview and hire seasonal farm workers. When needed, help with any livestock duties. Recognize and treat any health issues. Feed. General farm foreman duties as directed by the owners.

Weekend work is required, including Sundays.
Must be reliable, punctual and responsible.
