Meyer Farms Ltd. requires 2 Farm Equipment Operators in their Rolling Hills location to perform the following duties:

Job details:

Location: Box 7 Rolling Hills, AB T0J 2S0

Salary: $25.00 hourly

Vacancies: 2 vacancies

Terms of employment: Term or contract Full time 40 to 50 hours per week

Start date: As soon as possible

Employment conditions: Early morning, Evening, Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime required

Job requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Cut agricultural seed according to farm standards
• Harvest seedlings
• Implement soil fertility programs
• Organize tasks to accomplish the work
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• Seed cutting
• Fertilize and spray crops
• Harvest crops
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Maintain work records and logs
• Perform general farm duties
