Location: Surrey, British Columbia
Position: Esthetician (NOC 63211)
Wage: $27 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week – shifting schedule
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
ARU Spa and Salon is seeking a talented and dedicated Esthetician to join our team. The ideal candidate must meet the minimum requirements below. Responsibilities:
Provide a range of esthetic services including facials, waxing, body treatments and makeup applications.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
Adhere to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring schedule.
Welcome clients in a warm, friendly manner.
Accompany clients to and from treatment rooms and thanking them on departure.
Interview clients to obtain information about contraindications or if there’s any skin allergies to certain treatments, etc.
Examine client’s skin to evaluate the suitability of treatments
Advise clients on skin care
Recommend suitable treatments and home care regimens
Engage with clients during sessions on topics relating to their interests
Qualifications:
Graduation of Esthetician courses or Cosmetology Program.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an esthetician.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a foreign worker eligible to work in Canada.
