We are looking for a passionate and driven Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team and help us continue delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Position Summary

The Sous Chef works closely with the Executive Chef to lead daily kitchen operations, uphold culinary excellence, and inspire a cohesive, high-performing team. This role requires a balance of creativity, leadership, and technical skill in Italian cuisine.

Job Type: Full-Time; 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef in managing all back-of-house operations
• Oversee food preparation and execution to Tutto’s quality and presentation standards
• Contribute to menu development, seasonal features, and kitchen innovation
• Ensure proper ordering, inventory control, food cost management, and waste reduction
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff.
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff members
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Assist with scheduling, training, and performance development
• Provide leadership during service and ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or senior kitchen role, ideally in Italian or upscale dining
• Completion of secondary school
• Strong understanding of Italian ingredients, techniques, and culinary traditions
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
