We are looking for well-experienced Cooks to work for Pemberton Valley Supermarket located at 7438 Prospect St., Pemberton, BC, V0N 2L1, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and cook various dishes according to the menu and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
Assist in preparing ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring, to support daily food production.
Operate kitchen equipment.
Follow recipes and portion guidelines to maintain product consistency and control waste.
Ensure all food is prepared according to safety standards and company specifications.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing utensils, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing ingredients.
Monitor stock levels and inform the kitchen supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
Perform other kitchen-related tasks as assigned by the head chef or kitchen supervisor.

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary (High) School graduation certificate or equivalent.

Experience & Skills: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience or equivalent

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $20 to $22 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
