Hachi Hana Japanese Restaurant

Position: Cook, Full time, Permanent

Location: 1426 Lonsdale Ave North Vancouver, British Columbia V7M 2J1 Canada

Salary Rate: $16.25 per hour and 35~40 Hours per week

Duties

– Prepare and cook various Japanese dishes

– Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food display

– Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food

– Clean, cut, season, cook and arrange portions of food

– Train kitchen staff and oversee kitchen operations

– Follow food safety procedures and monitor temperatures

– Uphold and maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

– 2 years of Commercial Cook experience

– Able to communicate in English

– Available to work in evening and weekends

– Completion of High School graduation or higher
