Responsibilities include compliance with sanitation and food safe guidelines, prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat and preparing sauces, follow proper procedures regarding allergens, modify recipes to meet customer needs such as reduce salt, remove dairy, assist in cleaing and restocking of dishes and glassware, maintain a clean and organized work station, dispose of or properly store leftovers, monitor restaurant stock, assist with ordering food if required, provide assistance to coworkers, maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, provide assistance with end of day tasks, such as emptying garbage and recycling.
