NuFrame is currently seeking one (1) full-time, permanent Construction Site Supervisor to join our team.

Work Location: Various construction sites throughout the Lower Mainland, British Columbia
Wage rate: $37.50 per hour
Hours: 30 to 40 hours a week
Overtime: Paid after 40 hours per week
Eligibility:
· Completion of secondary school (high school diploma)
· Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the trade or in a related construction work area being supervised
· English language
Job Duties:
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule daily on-site activities of construction workers and tradespersons performing framing carpentry on residential and commercial projects.
- Plan and organize work schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate construction activities with subcontractors and other trade supervisors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Establish and implement efficient construction methods and work procedures to meet project timelines, budget requirements, and quality standards.
- Monitor job progress and site performance, identify workflow or technical issues, and recommend corrective actions to improve productivity, workmanship quality, and cost efficiency.
- Assist with estimating by reviewing project drawings, specifications, and scope documents; preparing quantity take-offs; and providing labour and material input to support cost estimates.
- Track labour hours, material usage, and production rates on site, compare actual costs against estimates, and report variances to management.
- Requisition construction materials, tools, and equipment in accordance with project schedules and estimated budgets.
- Train and guide workers in job duties, safe work practices, and company policies, while enforcing compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Provide recommendations related to staffing decisions, including hiring, performance assessments, promotions, and workforce planning.
- Prepare and submit work progress reports, cost summaries, and site documentation to management or clients.
- Supervise apprentices, helpers, and general labourers, ensuring effective task allocation and skill development.
- Where applicable, assist in overseeing overall project operations, including coordination of resources, staffing, and scheduling.
Working Conditions: The position requires full-time availability from Monday to Friday, with weekend work as required. The role involves a combination of office-based responsibilities and regular on-site work at active construction projects.
