Chadha Family residing on 79 Avenue and 135 street, Surrey, BC is looking to hire a Child caregiver – private home to look after their 15-year-old child.

Job Title:  Child Caregiver – Private Home (NOC 44100)

Job type: Full time and Permanent

Salary: $ 20/Hour for 30 hours a week

Minimum Education: High School

Language: English

Positions Available: 2

Job Location: Private Home located in Surrey, BC

Requirements:

·         Completion of High School

·         Minimum of 1-year full time paid work experience in similar positions

·         Completion of a 6-month full-time classroom training in a related field is an asset

·         Must have a flexible schedule and be available for early morning, day, early evening, and split shifts as the child’s schedule

Responsibilities:

·         Supervise and tend to child at the employer’s residence.

·         Prepare and serve nutritious meals for child

·         Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the child only

·         Instruct child in personal hygiene and support social development

·         Accompany child to and from school and to appointments

·         Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the employer’s home.

·         Participate with child in activities such as games, book reading, and crafts.

·         Tend to the emotional well-being of the child

·         Perform other related duties as required
